Organic Act is to the forest what Jaws is to the ocean.
A contemporary thriller told primarily through the perspectives of US forest rangers, detective Rebecca Tsesko and Nevan Valiant, the series is set in the US national forest; protected federal lands with unique and autonomous law enforcement, established at the beginning of the 20th century, to create a covert killing field.

Actor Danielle Savre
Rebecca Tsesko (27) is transferred as a criminal investigator to the Investigative Services Branch (ISB) of the National Park Services. Licking her wounds after a public and humiliating breakup with special jurisdiction police officer, Jesse Miller, she navigates herself through the underbelly of the ISB under the watchful eye of her supervisor Roland Deadrick. Rebecca initially investigates two disappearances in the National Park. It’s not long before she discovers clusters of disappearances. Finding herself stonewalled by her own organization, she is pushed closer to Nevan as she searches for answers.

Joshua’s older brother, is a park ranger and lives in the city. Nevan’s complex, sophisticated, fiercely loyal, and harbors a dark edge. As he’s lured into the forest, his true nature evolves. Eventually, a family secret unfolds, unveiling dark truths that challenge him to the core.

Roland is Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the ISB and is Rebecca’s direct supervisor. Born in New Orleans to a loving family with musical talent. As a young child, Roland witness the aftermath of the brutal hate crime resulting in his father’s murder, forever shaping his life. Determined to avenge his father’s death he goes down a road that compromises his character. Deeply entrenched in the organization, Roland’s dedication to protecting the forest blurs the lines of morality.

Aaron Edgebooth portrayed ages four through 72, bares “the mark." A direct decendent of President Levi Edgebooth, he’s an ever present force in the forest. Is he an apparition, an evil imprint from the past or a present danger?

Lucius George (73) adopted as a young boy by his godfather President Wesley Virgil Edgebooth after Lucius’ parents were tragically killed in an embassy bombing. Lucius has served his career in the US Forest Service. In addition to his forestry duties, he answers to clandestine government forces, having been charged with preserving the Edgebooth’s legacy, protecting the forest, and concealing deep secrets.
Actor Ryan Guzman
Joshua Valiant (29) is a protection ranger, former Coast Guard, and sharp shooter. He’s a good guy, adventurous, a survivalist, amiable and has no trouble with isolation, living and working from his family’s homestead in the outbacks of the national forest. He becomes Nevan’s impetus throughout season one.

Iris Knopka's (36), a beautiful, quirky and deeply damaged soul. Developing Hirsutism around the age of 13, she struggled to fit in. Several years later, her father died leaving her alone in the world. Using her inheritance, she opened a record store. This is where she met the love of her life, Woody. Brought together through adversity, they decided to sell everthing they own, purchase The Trading Post, and live off the grid.
